The best fruit at the estates is separated and then fermented in large French oak vats. The finished wine is then transferred to a combination of French and American oak barriques. The wines is an intense Garnet colour with bluish notes at the edges. On the nose forest fruit & licorice is apparent along with notes pine, cigar leaf and sweet spices. The tannins are soft and lengthy with balsamic suggestions. 92-points Wine Spectator
