SPOTLIGHT ON WINE

MONTES ALPHA CHARDONNAY 750ML

Tasting Note: Brilliant, pale golden-yellow in colour, with an elegant nose full of ripe tropical fruit notes, such as pineapple, cherimoya, and mango, complemented by a touch of pear and apricot. Floral notes mingle very well with light, toasty, hazelnut-like aromas. Hints of asparagus and artichoke heart, show its cool-coastal character. Refreshing, natural acidity pairs with generous body to provide a well-rounded palate, and a lovely finish.

When to Drink: Drink now or cellar up to three years.
Food Pairing: This is a very versatile wine. It is highly recommended with salmon tartare, lobster, fresh shellfish, ripe cheeses, and with hot dishes such as crab gratin and mildly sauced white meats and pastas.

The EXPÉRIENCE by/par ANBL boutique store offers all of what you’d expect from the program, and so much more. Rare spirits, unique beer, and yes, even more wines that you won’t find at any other ANBL location. Located in the heart of downtown Moncton, EXPÉRIENCE by/par ANBL is a must-visit for locals and worth the trip for everyone else.

 

 

 

HIDDEN BENCH ESTATE PINOT NOIR 750ML

Tasting Note: Pouring a brilliant ruby purple with aromas of macerated summer berries, purple violets, and cured meat. The expressive palate is layered with flavours of cherry cola, cran-raspberry fruit, and toasted bread. The ripe fruit character is balanced by refreshing acidity and subtle minerality indicative of this Lincoln Lakeshore vineyard.
